When I’m in creative mode in a café, I always have to drink out of a mug. The droplets splash against the porcelain and begin to mix together to work in uniform to deliver an amazing taste. I hear the coffee hit the edge of the cup with my refill. There are a million steps involved in creating good marketing, but in my opinion, there are only five that you really must use to create good, effective marketing. But now I understand how to trick my brain into right-brained creativity and relaxation for the ideas to flow. I realize that not everyone’s brain works like mine (probably for the better) but I am pretty predictable when the daily clogs block my creative process and keep me from being able to work the way I want to. The caffeine seems to pull the two control centers together to innovate and ideate. The thoughts come quickly as the right brain and left brain begin to interact. My relaxation causes me to focus on a couple of client projects. And my fingers begin to type this article. I smile as I react to the darkness of the roast. The coffee is hot and crisp and has the right amount of acid as it washes my mouth with its soft, velvety touch. I needed a fresh scene - to “change my air” - so I headed down to a local café.
